What Happens if My Abstract Is Accepted?
Twelve individuals will be selected to present their research as an oral presentation on April 25 during the live Symposium. Oral presenters are expected to create a 5-7 minute PowerPoint presentation about their research. Presenters will be asked questions from the audience about their presentation. Oral presenters will NOT submit an ePoster PDF.
If your abstract is accepted into the Symposium, but not selected as an oral presentation, you will be assigned to one of two ePoster sessions (ePoster Session 1: 4:00-4:30 pm ET or ePoster Session 2: 4:30-5:00 pm ET). During the ePoster session, you will give your ePoster presentation to each of your three assigned judges. The judges will provide you with feedback and ask you questions about your research. Judges will submit a score based on a rubric. At the end of the Symposium, there will be an Awards Ceremony where the winners from the ePoster presentations will be announced.
