Abstract Reviewer Intent Form

Each year ABRCMS receives abstract submissions from community college, undergraduate, postbaccalaureate and master’s level students. ABRCMS needs your help to ensure all abstracts are reviewed by three researchers. Invest in the next generation of scientists by volunteering to review pre-conference poster or Student Lightning Talk abstracts for ABRCMS 2021.

Poster Reviewers Student Lightning Talk Reviewers
  • Assigned approximately 25 abstracts.
  • Accept or reject abstract into the conference. If reject, must select why rejected.
  • Confirm the abstract has been assigned the appropriate scientific discipline or if more than one discipline can be associated with the abstract.
  • Assigned approximately 20 abstracts.
  • Accept or reject abstract into the conference. If reject, must select why rejected. Then reviewer will score abstract based on five criterion.
  • Confirm the abstract has been assigned the appropriate scientific discipline or if more than one discipline can be associated with the abstract.
Time commitment: Approximately 8 hours between Sept 17-20. Time commitment: Approximately 8 hours between Sept 17-20.

To volunteer for abstract reviewing:

  • Must be a postdoctoral scientist, research faculty member or research scientist.
  • Must be an active researcher, who spends at least 25% of time researching, in one of the 12 ABRCMS disciplines.
  • Must be available to review Sept 17 – 20.
  • Complete the intent form below by Aug 31.
