2008 Conference Details

ORLANDO, FLORIDA

November 5 - 8, 2008

Orlando was originally built by the army in 1838 as Fort Gatlin to protect settlers during the Seminole Wars. Orlando was incorporated in 1875 with a total of 85 inhabitants.

Currently, the City of Orlando has a population of over 200,000, with the metro area consisting of a population of over 1.75 million. Orlando has a diverse population, with 30% African American and 18% Hispanic.

Orlando is home to Walt Disney World, Disney MGM Studios, Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios Florida, Universal Studios Islands of Adventure and Sea World of Orlando.
