Travel Award Information

Three types of travel awards are being offered this year through ABRCMS and the FASEB MARC Program to ABRCMS attendees and judges. Provided below are information and application requirements for each travel award. Submission sites for the travel awards open in June 2013.

***Please note, attendees are allowed to apply to both the ABRCMS Student Travel Award and the FASEB MARC Travel Award, but can only accept one.***

ABRCMS Student Travel Award

Application Deadline:  Friday, September 6, 2013

The ABRCMS Student Travel Award provides undergraduate and postbaccalaureate students up to $1,500 to cover registration, housing and travel (airfare and ground transportation). Graduate students and postdoctoral scientists are not eligible to apply.

ABRCMS Judges' Travel Subsidy

Application Deadline: Friday, September 27, 2013

First-time ABRCMS judges (postdoctoral scientists and faculty members) available to judge all poster and oral sessions scheduled throughout the conference are eligible to apply for the Judges’ Travel Subsidy. The subsidy provides up to $1,650 to cover registration, housing and travel.

FASEB MARC Program Travel Award

Application Deadline: Friday, September 27, 2013

The FASEB MARC Travel Award provides undergraduate and postbaccalaureate students up to $1,850 to be used for travel related expenses and/or conference registration. Graduate students and postdoctoral scientists are not eligible to apply.

Decisions are made on a rolling basis.
