Frequently Asked Questions

Are meals included with the purchase of a conference registration?

Yes, the conference registration fee includes all scheduled meals, which include Wednesday dinner; Thursday breakfast, lunch and dinner; Friday breakfast and lunch; and Saturday breakfast, lunch and closing banquet.

Can non-conference participants attend the closing banquet on Saturday?

Yes, banquet-only passes can be purchased during registration hours on-site. The cost is $100 to attend.

Can my family and/or friends attend my poster/oral presentation?

Yes. We encourage family support of your presentation, however, a written request must be submitted prior to the conference which includes the name of the person you wish to attend your presentation, and the date and time of your presentation.

All requests must be sent to abrcms@asmusa.org. ABRCMS staff will review all requests and make decisions prior to the conference. Approved family and/or friends will need to obtain a guest pass from the on-site registraion desk to be granted entrance into the exhibit hall.

What airport should I fly into?

Lambert St. Louis International Airport (STL), servicing more than 130 non-stop destinations, is located approximately 13 miles from America's Center. Additional information about travel arrangements can be found at http://www.lambert-stlouis.com

Does the conference provide any transportation from the airport to the hotel or convention center?

No, all attendees must provide their own transportation to and from the airport. Information on bus, taxi and shuttle services from all airports can be found on the Explore St. Louis website at: http://www.explorestlouis.com/visitors/transportation

Does ABRCMS coordinate roommate assignments?

No, ABRCMS staff will not coordinate the assignment of roommates for the conference. All attendees are responsible for making their own housing arrangements. Official conference hotels can be found at http://www.abrcms.org/page03b.html starting May 5th.

Where will the conference sessions be held?

All sessions, including the poster/oral presentations and exhibits, will be held at America's Center in downtown St. Louis, Missouri.
