Highlights

The Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS) is a national conference designed to encourage undergraduate, postbaccalaureate and graduate students to pursue advanced training in the biomedical and behavioral sciences, including mathematics.

In July 2000, NIGMS Division of Minority Opportunities in Research (MORE) awarded the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) a grant to manage the ABRCMS.

ABRCMS is the official conference for students and program directors supported through MARC, MBRS and Bridges Program, however, as indicated by the statistics below, the conference is increasingly attended by students not participating in these programs.
