Eligibility: Submitting an Abstract
Prospective abstract submitters must satisfy the following two criteria:
- Must be an undergraduate sophomore, undergraduate junior, undergraduate senior, postbaccalaureate student, or graduate student as of September 5, 2008.
- Must have conducted research, used experimental methods/methodology and developed results in one of the ten ABRCMS scientific disciplines within the biomedical and behavioral sciences (listed in the scientific discipline section)
Important Information
- Only presentations from undergraduate students (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) will be judged on-site and eligible for awards.
- Postbaccalaureate students, graduate students and previous ABRCMS poster or oral presentation awardees from 2001 - 2007 can only submit abstracts for poster presentation and are not eligible to be judged or to receive an award.
- Undergraduate freshmen and postdoctoral scientists are not eligible to submit an abstract.
Postdoctoral Fellowship Recruitment Hall
Senior-level doctoral graduate students (completed preliminary exams/course work), if accepted, will present their poster presentation in a separate postdoctoral fellowship recruitment hall. This hall will host both poster presentations and exhibitors promoting their postdoctoral opportunities.
