Eligibility: Submitting an Abstract
Prospective abstract submitters must satisfy the following two criteria:
- Be an undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior; a postbaccalaureate student; or a graduate student as of September 10, 2010.
Important Information
- Only one abstract submission, poster or oral, per student is acceptable. Students must decide between submitting an abstract for poster presentation or oral presentation. If a student is listed as the presenting author on more than one abstract, all abstracts associated with the student will be automatically rejected.
- Only presentations from undergraduate sophomores, juniors, and seniors will be judged on-site and be eligible for awards.
- Postbaccalaureate students, graduate students, and previous ABRCMS poster or oral presentation awardees may only submit abstracts for poster presentation, and these are ineligible to be judged or receive awards.
- Doctoral-level graduate students whose abstracts are accepted will present their poster presentations in a separate Postdoctoral Recruitment Hall.
- Undergraduate freshman and postdoctoral scientists are not eligible to submit abstracts.
Postdoctoral Recruitment Fair
Doctoral-level graduate students whose abstracts are accepted will present at the Postdoctoral Recruitment Fair. This fair enables exhibitors and faculty to showcase their postdoctoral opportunities and network with doctoral-level graduate students and postdoctoral scientists. This fair is held in a hall separate from the main exhibit hall.
